2010年冬に結成。
その場のノリでメンバーの呼び名が外国人風になり、バンド名は省略してもかっこよくなるように長くする。省略名は特に決まらず、なぜ長くしたのかという不安が残る。
バンド名は「stir one's pulse」と決まる。
意味は「自分たちの音楽で誰かに何かしらの刺激を与えること」とした。
オリジナル曲を作ったり、時にはコピーをしたり、細く長くマイペースに活動している。
